Surf Lesson #1
June has finally come around, and what do you know? Carolina School of Surf has opened its training season. Our first lesson is in the history books. The schooling took place down in the quaint community of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, with waves perfect for learning and the weather ideal for any beach-goer. After the lesson had subsided, my pupil, Tristan, went as far as to say “Ben is the best instructor ever”. Now, I don’t completely know if that was solely based upon the fact that I was standing three feet away from her AND because she wanted to shower me with sympathy, but I’m pretty sure that is why. Anyways, she did catch on pretty quick and had a great time as you can see.
